Hi.
I'm a sophomore in a college.
I transferred to MSU after studying at South Dakota State University a couple of years.
I grew up in South Korea and been in the states about 2.5 years.
My Life Story
Like i said above, i'm currently studying at MSU, and it's been a journey until now.
When i was a high school student, i never cared for any academic related activities. I didn't care for a college or future in particular.
Admittedly i was drifting like the characters in the novels in this blog. 2.5 years, i went to school to goof around with friends. Let me tell you the reason behind the whole mass.
When i was around 11, i had an opportunity to study 5 months at a school in the New Zealand. (When i said study, i meant having fun with people i never saw before). As soon as i left the airport, i realized the place was nothing like i ever seen before.
As a kid who grew up surrounded by buildings, looking at trees, garden, and lawn surrounding a house seem nothing less than an art. However, school was the one that changed my view entirely.
I grew up getting exposed to academic pressure since i can even read, and days were usually consist of "learning". On the other hand, schools in New Zealand showed me learning doesn't mean sitting on a chair staring at a chalk board shoving words down my brain. I learned the joy of leaning and living. Since i was a kid, however, i never realized it until i grew older.
After i got back home, i lost interest in the prison activity they called education.
For awhile, the trip to New Zealand was considered curse for me, and it takes me to the senior year in the high school.
One day I just decided, i should at least try to trigger my enthusiasm in a new place, i know is better than where i lived.
And the whole journey takes me to here, MSU.
